A quick update on our 'Yana' project...
As I told you before, planning the shoot for 'Yana' could have been done a lot better and was the biggest issue so far. Totally my fault, but that's why I/we do these things: to learn.
*Note: bad planning bites you in the ass during editing aswell* whoohoo!
Anyway, the first rough cut of 'Yana' has - finally - been locked and runs up to 8 minutes, blooper reel included - No, there's NOT just 7.5 minutes of blooper reel and 0.5 minutes of useable shots, NO :p
Let's try and make it work with the 1.5 hours of footage we have... not as much as we supposed to have, but it's looking promising nonetheless. What's left to do now is some color correcting and grading and of course all of the FX compositing. Let's get busy!
FYI - 'Yana' will be more of a promotional preview of the concept, characters and storyline, than an actual short film.
